Hi, I am working for a small company A and this company mergered with another small B company. Mine have MS 2K3 SBS with MX point to mail.domainA.com and A host=companyA Public IP mapped to A SBS Exchange Server. Company B already have mail.domainB.com; purpose: all combined employees will have the same domainA.com mail domain name and mails will go to A before to B. With MS KB 321721, 319759; I am still confuse how to make it work? How can I set records (public and internal on A and B Exchange server) for B with the same mail domainA and A will forward mails to B after they get into A? Please help. Thanks and Best Regards, Tony

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

I’m not sure if I understand you correctly, but I think you mean the employees will recieve emails @domainA.com, as well as @domainB.com.

If so, for domainB.com users, you can create contact accounts with SMTP of domainB.com and have domainA Exchange box forward it to domainB’s EXCH box.

Alternatively you can add another Recipient Policy in domain A’s EXCH box with SMTP of domain B (@domainB.com). This requires you create AD accounts for domain B users.

As for public MX records you can keep them the same as they are now.
