 Merak Mail Server Problem
Exchange, Spam, SpamAssassin
We use Merak mail server for emails. About 8 days ago, some email accounts on the server started receiving the same emails that go out more than 5 times. In other words, emails that go out from the server would get to the receipients repeatedly over and over again. I am not sure what causes this behavior. If you have experienced the same problem with Merak or Exchange server please let me know. I highly appreciate your help on this issue. Thanks, tranbadu

I had this problem on Exchange. It happened when someone sent an e-mail to multiple recipients. One or more of the recipients were invalid. Instead of simply retrying that one recipient, it retried all of them. I installed the latest service pack for Exchange 2000 and one of the premium support ones (if I remember correctly) and that fixed it.

What makes you believe that this problem is within the server functionality , I believe its something else like a clever hack
