Tabs
Hi, I have a form, which has a canvas consists of several tabs. Inside each tab, the form has database data blocks. The problem with this approach is that at the start my form loads all the tabs that are within the canvas. Due to the limited memory of the application server the form does not load. Can I load a tab, just after the user to select the tab, and in this way decrease the initial memory needed?

Software/Hardware used:
Oracle Forms 10g

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

I’m not a 10g developer so I asked our head programmer and replied with the below comment. Hope this helps.

Yes, but you cannot use oracles wizard for joining you must do manually. Including nextrec and prevrec, nxtset, up, down, crerec, and probably some I am not thinking of

What exactly do you mean by "...at the start my form loads all the tabs..." ? Is this a master-detail form ? Does the main block automatically execute its query when starting the form ?
