I have a 3590 H tape drive that gives me Media Errors during my nightly backups. Is there any information or manuals on what causes media errors and how to avoid them? The tape drive is shared by 2 ISeries systems and I have found that I can have a media error on a tape from one system backup but the same tape will be used on another system backup with no media error.
