 Career matchmaking – program development
I am interested in making software that allows potential employees to find employers who are offering what they are looking for in a job (be it salary, benefits, location, a specific job, etc). I also would like to have the vice versa of the scenario where the employer can look for a specific type of employee (judging by particular criteria such as years of school completed, background, reading level, experience, etc.) 1.) Is this possible? 2.) If so does it already exist? Is it freeware? 3.) If this were to be written as a program what would be the best method of doing so? Database?

That would be just about every job site out there. Monster.com, dice.com, etc. All these are free to the job seeker. The company with the opening to fill pays a small fee to post the jobs up there.
