mapped netowork drives
all of my users are on our local LAN and receives a login srcript from one of the two DNS servers and creates there network drives for them (file and print, Shared drives etc..etc..) . They all get a valid IP address can use the internet and can receive and send email no problem. how ever when they try to access a network shared drive. None of the drives appear in there list of drives.
If I do a ipconfig /release and reboot. They receive there logon scripts and get there network drives correctly
any answers as too why at the first bootup they are missing there network drives.

Did you look at the Network information (ipconfig /all) before and after you did the release? If so, was there any changes in the information (i.e. different dns info, ip address, etc.)?

Maybe if you include in your script a disconnect for the network drives and then connect it will work properly. For one of my network drives I had to do it this way for it to correctly map the network drive.
