 Mapped drives occasionally empty
Hi, I've recently been having an issue where a mapped drive on a workstation shows that it's connected but when selected no files or folders appear. This a small network of 5 Win2000 servers (DC, SQL, Storage, TS, Exchange). It's quite sporadic so I haven't been able to really troubleshoot it. The only thing I can think that I changed proir to this happening was implementing folder redirection for users Documents folders. I've had it happen on my own workstation and the only fix I've found is rebooting the workstation then everything is fine. Just kind of annoying at this point. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Answer Wiki:
It maybe a permission problem. When connecting to the drive it connects with a default user for example (guest) & this account has limited permission or no permission at all to see the folders but they have minimal access to the mapped drive. Check accounts that have permission on the mapped drives.
