The remote desktops are having a mix of Windows based operating system along with Internet connection. They are not part of domain / workgroup. They have non-standard folders to be backed up. Need to have a disk-to-usb-cloud backup wherein Monday to Friday are retained for a week, Saturday backup retained for a month. Need to use in-built Windows tools and free cloud. I should should be able to monitor success / failure of each and able to access the cloud data.

However you did not mention which Windows version is there, though cloudberry desktop backup free edition, is a free use of cloud service that you can use. Also windows built-in backup tools help to backup the system. There are several free backup tool like luckybackup/ backup maker etc.

This is a homework question and if you use Google, you will find it out there with some different answers on how to complete this task.

Next time, if you show some effort in answering the question, then the forum here would at least point you in the right direction, but just to ask and expect an answer, it does not work that way. How else are you going to learn.
