People in charge who don’t have a clue about IT (or EDP as it used to be called). They think because they use Quicken on a PC, that they “know all about computers.”

Our DP shop has mainframe (z/OS) , midrange (AIX), servers (winDoze), and PCs.
We recently got a new boss – upper upper management level.
He called us all together to tell us how he respects us and to remove any doubts that we have about his IT knowledge. He assured us he has created an ACCESS database on his home PC so he knows all about the challenges we face.
