manage audio shows no audio device found in my windows xp 2002 sp2

Dear sir, my audio manager in control panel shows no audio device found. So sound is not creating on my system. Is my HD audio driver corrupted or missed. So please help me.

    Have u tried to observe the Device Manager.... do right click on My Computer > Properties > Hardware > Device Manager and observe that if there is any yellow symbol in Sound, video and game controller section. If it is colored yellow then driver is missing !! Dnld the proper driver for this motherboard (if u already install vga/chipset driver, u can see the name thru same way) and install & enjoy it.

    Although u mentioned here windows xp 2002 sp2.... some confusing here most probably it is Windows XP SP2(service pack 2) and XP 2002 is MS Office version.
