We have an internal Joomla website. We want to make it public to the Internet. What security precautions need to be taken? What do we need to make it public? We are running this on IIS off of a Win 2003 Server.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Are we talking Public anybody on the net public or corp user access by VPN Public. If we are talking Public not Corp I myself would Co-Locate it in a Data Center cost should be under $100.00 a month and let them worry about it.

If that is not an option check your firewall documentation on how to publish a server that resides in the DMZ. (the key is ISOLATION).
