I am a computer engineering graduate and completed my b.tech in 2012 but due to some reasons, I'm working in a marine insurance firm. But I want to make a career in SAP. So please suggest me how to proceed. I'm from India. Some suggested to me to do a certification in SAP ABAP from any authorized training centre. I have heard about Genovate, Atos etc. who are providing certification in a 20 days training period. But it is very costly. But I want to know if I will appear for the certification then can I get any opportunity after completing my certification? Will only 20 days of training be enough to get a grasp on the course? Some of my friends told me that only ABAP certification can not help me much. I have to get certification in functional module (FI,CO etc.) as well to get a good job and make my future secured. I'm very much confused. Please help me out in this regard. What should I do now? How should I proceed? Can I switch to functional module from ABAP in the future or what are my future scopes? Or should I get trained from any low cost training centre first and then appear for the certification? Please help me. Thank you in advance.
