 Mainframe to SAP ABAP
Hi.I am currently having 2.5 yrs of exp in Mainframes(COBOL,JCL,IMs,DB2 etc..). I am planning to switch to SAP ABAP as there are very few oppurtunities in Maniframes. Also,SAP is very demanding in the current IT market scenario and pay is also very gud. Would it be a wise decision to switch technology at this point of time in my career after 2.5 yrs exp??? Please advise...

Answer Wiki:
It seems that a lot of corporation are converting COBOL applications to SAP. If you take SAP training, then you would definitely be a good candidate for this kind of migrations. Maybe you should give it a try for a project and see if you like it? If you don't, nothing prevents you to go back to Mainframe only applications. Have a good day, Joelle
