 mails received in hieroglyphs instead of Cyrillic symbols in Lotus Notes 8.5
Lotus Notes client applications
User receives externail email (with POP3/IMAP4 protocol) to his LN mailbox with hieroglyphs instead of Cyrillic symbols. If you send this email to the Exchange email it's ok to view - Cyrillic as Cyrillic without any kind of cracky symbols. I have tried searching everywhere about this but tough luck.. :-(

The configuration document for your smtp server has settings for which character set to use for various languages, settings for auto-detecting languages, etc. Have you looked there?
