mailbox access via Active Directory Users and Computers
In order to get access to a subordinate's calendar, I am told to start by going to the Active Directory Users and Computers tab and to open the Properties window for the user's mailbox.  Where is the Active Directory Users and Computers tab?

Software/Hardware used:
Microsoft Outlook 2003

Answer Wiki:
If you do not feel comfortable going through the Active Directory there is another way. First of all, I am assuming that your subs know that you want to see their calendar. If this is the case and you are running Outlook 2007- 1) Go to your calendar tab 2) Right-click your personal calendar and click "Share 'Calendar'" 3) A new window will appear similarly to a calendar invite 4) Uncheck "Allow recipient to view your Calendar" (unless you want them to) 5) Check "Request permission to view recipient's Calendar" 6) They will get an email which they will have to check "Allow" at the top - If you do not want them to know you could do these steps in reverse when they are away and send the "Allow recipient to view your Calendar" Hope this helps!

Hi Kellynissanarcelormittal,

A little background…
Active Directory Users And Computers (ADUC) reside on a Member Server of your Domain Start->All Programs->Administrative Tools, or in a workstation with Windows Server Remote Administration Tools Pack (AdminPack) if we were talking about XP or Remote Server Administration Tools if it is Win7.

In order to configure delegation for a mailbox, you can read this Guide.
