Dear All, I plan to configure mail server in Red hat Linux 9. Please give some help in mail server configuration. There are so many free and less money mail server packages in Internet. What is the easy and best mail server (eg: Gmail, Qmail and so..). Please give me some Details..

Currently I am using Kerio Mail Server. Seems to work well with Linux. The only issue that I have had with the mail server is the upload of files that are big. Other than that, the Kerio Mail Server is a cost effective solution. Kerio has available a demo version you may try on their website… so go try it out. Version 6.1 coming soon!!!

    The best mail server is the one you know ro learn. I use Redhat 9 and Sendmail. Titi

    Silly of me, but I use Slackware along with sendmail, Mcaffee antivirus, and spamassassin. It's also firewalled with iptables and behind another firewall itself; I have had zero problems with it in the two years it has been running. You didn't say how many users you are planning to have, I only have about 30 of them.
