A company has a problem with their mail server. They are able to recive mails but they cant send any emails.They recive loads of spamm mails about 1000 throught 5h. We thought it might be that all the spam is blocking the server but we dont know what to do does anybody have an idea??

What, if any, types of errors are you getting when you try to send mail?
Has mail ever worked at this location?
Who is your internet provider?

It could be as simple as your outgoing server requires authentication.

    If messages are not being sent to the Internet, it could point to a DNS issue. Check the DNS settings in the OS of the server and if this is Exchange Server, the smart host settings of the virtual server(s). Since messages are being delivered, it doesn't really point to an SMTP stack issue.
