With Microsoft Word 2003 and Lotus note 6.5.4 and Lotus Notes 8.0.2 I have successfully used Mail Merge. I had to first install Microsoft Outlook onto my PC (Mail Merge requires a MAPI client.) Then I went into Internet Explorer and set programs back to Lotus notes (away from Outlook) I was then able to mail merge and send Word Documents as an attachment. Word 2007 has new code and I have not yet been able to make it work.
