Hi, I'm new to web development and I'm working my way through the Dreamweaver manual (also in the PDF). It was going well well until I hit the wall in "Chapter 5 Developing a Web Application" (Page 69-82). My problem.... I can't seem to get "Live Data View" to work (bottom of P.66 in the PDF) When I click the "Live Data View" toolbar, I get a red "!" error next to the "Repeat Region (rsComments)" in the 'servers behaviors' panel. This also causes the 'DataSet (rsComments)' to disappear from the server behaviors panel. If I close and reopen the document, the dataset item in the server behavior panel reappears. The message I get is ... 'The DataSet "rsComments" was not found. Please select a new DataSet' however, there are no options in the dropdown list. Note I tried this without the repeat region just to try to view the first record but the same thing happens. My setup.... Local station (Windows XP) with Dreamweaver MX 6.1 connected peer LAN to a remote Windows XP station running IIS and DotNet Frameworks 1.1. Both systems are fully patched. I know my database connection is good as I can view the tables via the database panel (I can view all 3 tables in the sample Global.mdb). Any ideas?
