Gka, could you be more specific?
Gerardo.
Hi, Gerardo,
I have similar requirement as Gka,
As you know we have ISREDIT-Macros in REXX in IBM-MAINFRAME Systems.
Do we have similar concept in AS/400?
Can we write a macros in REXX/400?
Lets say for example, to find and locate a string through out the library?
Just add on to this same question,
Do we have panels concept in REXX/400?
Thank you,
Shameer

If you live outside the United States, by submitting your email address you consent to having your personal data transferred to and processed in the United States.
That depends on what you mean by “macro”. Tell us what a “macro” means to you, and we’ll tell you if you can do it with REXX/400.

The terms are not generally used with REXX/400. But it might just be a difference in terminology.
Locating a “string” throughout a library could certainly be done with REXX, but it might not be very common. Usually, other methods work much better with much less effort.
