I have a MacBook Pro (purchased it roughly a year ago). Everything is working great but there's just one thing that's annoying. All of a sudden, the screen turns off randomly and it's happening often. I turn it back on and it's fine. Any ideas on why this keeps happening? Is there something I should look out for?

If there’s nothing showing, try going into the System Preferences, to the Energy Saver settings and disable the sleep mode for both the display and the laptop. It will complain when you do this, and you WILL want to be mindful of it not going to low-energy use esp. when you’re on battery power – and see if it stops the issue.

Its might be worth executing a File System Consistency Check in Single User Mode

Boot Computer as Single-User:
Command+S

File System Consistency Check:
fsck -fy

Boot OS:
exit

If you want to disable sleep entirely, in Terminal:
sudo pmset sleep 0

Whatever you do, at very first take all necessary backups, like your personal files/ folders/ pictures or other files that related. Else if there will any discomfort, you can loose your personal data.
