where do you get the mac addresses to statically configure ports on a switch? why would you need to connect 2 switches together?

HI,

If you want to configure port security for a switch the below link will help you .Assume that you have 50 sytem and you have a 24 port switch .In this scenario you have to add another one switch to connect all the hosts in one NW .Thus you have to uplink between these switches .
