Q:
Lower-end SAN products
Do you use any lower-end SAN products (EqualLogic, EMC, LeftHand Networks, Compellent Technologies, etc.) in your setup? If so, what do you use?

Hi Jenny,

We still have some low-end storage in use for small offices. We have Dell/EMC AX-150 arrays in an iSCSI configuration in some remote sites that only need file services and/or low-end SQL servers. Our configurations vary from 1TB to 6TB of storage with two dedicated gigabit switches to act as the storage network.

They are older arrays, but they are still filling a niche very well.

I hope this helps,
Daniel

You might want to better define lower end SAN products. EMC makes a lot of products most of which fall into the high to mid range.
