 lov item when-button-pressed Oracle 6i
lov, Oracle 6i
Hello I want to perform an action on when-validate-item trigger of an lov item as soon as the item value is changed but that action is performed when another butotn on the page is pressed. I want this action to be performed when the lov item value is changed and not when another button control on form is pressed. Please help. Thank you.

Could you please provide more details ?

There is no such thing as ‘lov item’. What type of item are you using ? is it a text item with a List Of Values attached to it ? If so, how are you displaying the LOV ?

Also, are users allowed to enter text into the item (without using the LOV) ?
