Suggest me for the following modification: I want to make some changes in existing DB which has 3 replica copies in different servers. I do not want to use replica formula. I want to enable and disable users of one replica DB to see all the documents based on some category in the view. the features of enabling and disabling is frequent. What could be the easiest way to do the same.

When you say "enable and disable users" do you mean that changing the ACL is the only change you're making?

Yes . I want this kind of facility to provide. but the users are in group, I am thinking to use roles for each category. Is there any better suggestion?

How about using Readers field on the documents and some kind of profile document listing the access with a button to update the documents. If users are not listed in the Readers field they do not see the document.

You can change the replication settings to not replicate the acl.
