Lotus Sametime not working

One of my users is having an issue with Sametime. When I logged onto her Lotus Notes (we use 8.5), and clicked the "About" area, it said that Lotus Sametime is installed, but I'm not able to get her contact list to show up on her sidebar. She can still receive IMs, but cannot send them because she cannot access her contacts. Anyone know a quick fix? Any help is appreciated. Cheers, Obi

    Not sure but u can try it, put the correct .nsf file on the LN and restarted gateway. Try force sync by changing the server date back a day and then forward to the correct date. Sometimes, LN address book may change email addresses to long notes address.

    Did you try View-->Right Sidebar Panels-->Sametime Contacts?As for sending IMs, can she initiate the chat session from the Public Address Book?

    Go into the Notes Client Preferences > Sametime CommunitiesReset the prmary and delete any other communities..... then reconnect. If this does not work go into VPUSERINFO.nsf on the Sametime server. Check there is not two entries for the user and if so delete both and state again ie close not and when Sametime opens up readd users / groups.
