 Lotus notes transfer from 5 to 6.5
Lotus Notes 5.0, Lotus Notes 6, Lotus Notes Upgrades
Hi All,

 

Can anybody please guide me that how I can upgrade all lotus clients and domino sever which are in R5 to R6.5

What other things should I keep in mind while upgrading.

 

Any help would be much appreciated.

Please be aware that the jump from 5 to 6.x is a big jump. After 6 IBM did not do such a huge jump at once.

It all depands on what you use Domino for but I would suggest if you are not aware of some of the pitfalls such as Domino code implications that you enlist the help of a IBM / Lotus Business Partner. They will be able to help make things allot easier. If you are running a small environment where it is just mail and a few Apps then it is likely that there wont be an issue but be safe and TEST TEST TEST.
