Lotus notes to Sql

I have text files as attachments to emails in Notes Database and I would like to get the information from the attachment and store it in Sql database. Could any one suggest the best possible way to accomplish this
I have set of data in the text file
It goes like this
// Name: Tom
// Age:22
// Location:Sydney
etc....
And all the attachments have similar kind of data.
Can this be achieved without using the LEI. If so how can this be done.Iam a beginner in Lotus development
