Lotus Notes Signature disappears after a number of hours
I have a user who's Lotus Notes Signature disappears after a number of hours (his EA accesses his mail file at the same time ), it will not appear at the bottom of the email again, until he restarts Notes. While restarting is an acceptable solution for most people, this user normally has 20-30 emails open at a time due to the nature of his job so it is becoming a real issue to him.

Answer Wiki:
May I ask what kind of signature file your user using? html/text or just a plain text message? where is the file located? how about other user? are they having the same problem? Did u try to reinstall the notes client again ? (backup the data folder under notes) try with brand new settings without copy back the data to see if it help. __________ This is an address book issue, rename the old and create a new one to solve this.

The calendar profile may be corrupt. Delete the profile and replace the design to see if that helps.

apparently the names.nsf fix had been tried awhile ago with this user. The design has be replaced/refreshed quiet a few times to.

I think I will have to close this off as unresolved

Delete the Calendar profile doc (this is where the signature is stored) and replace the design. If you search the IBM/notes support site, there’s some simple code there (an agent) that you can use to delete the profile doc.
