I gave a reservations database which has 2 duplicate records which I'd like to remove. Does anyone know how this can be done without deleting all of the reservations associated with the room?
The duplicate records were caused by a user who was responsible for a controlled resource and therefore had Editor access. They created a local replica and subsequently replicated changes unaware that replication conflict documents would be created. These replication conficts were turned into 'real' resource enteries when they were opened with a view to their deletion andwhen closed were converted from Conflicts to 'kosher' records.
I cant just 'delete' the duplicate records because the system stops me, insisting I open the documer and use the delete agent.
Using the delete agent warns me that there are reservations associated with the resource and requires confirmation to delete. This is a nightmare but so far there hasn't been any problems.
Anyone got any ideas? or have you a bit of script language which will allow me to delete these 'rogue' duplicates?
