Q:
Lotus Notes error message when opening database
I am having trouble with my Lotus Notes sofware. I connect to Lotus Notes using DiUp because my workstation is located far away from my company. I should also mention that I have an admin ID.

I keep receiving the error message : "Server error, Names$Address book (names.nsf) does not contain a required view" when I open my Notes database. I also cannot contact my administrator because of the distance. Can anyone help me figure out what the problem is?

I would guess that the problem has to do with the location profile. Depending on your version you can go to File > Locations > Manage Locations and check if you have the right settings in your Dial Up profile.
