    What version of Notes are you using? Where are you dragging the files from? Sometimes, you have to get the file saved separately on disk before you can drag it to a Notes rich text field, like the body field of a mail message. For instance, we use Outlook mail. If I want to save a Word attachment to a Notes workflow application, I open the document in Notes in edit mode, open the Outlook email, drag the Word file to the desktop, then drag it to the Notes document's rich text field. Hope that helps, because that's all I know about this feature.

    Make sure you drag the file into a rich text field. Other types of fields will not accept attachments.
