Lotus Notes compatibility with Microsoft Outlook
I am currently researching the compatibility issues between Lotus Notes and Microsoft Outlook.  My current company uses Lotus Notes relase 8.5.1 for mail, address, calendar and scheduling.  The company is tightly tied to Lotus Notes because of other applications, so the possibility of retiring the system is slim.

I would like to know if there is a way to integrate this version of Lotus Notes with Microsoft Outlook (either 2007 or 2010) so that the functionality litsted above (mail, address, calendar and scheduling) could be access with the Outlook client, but the backend is still managed by Lotus Notes.

I believe there are productivity gains that can be achieved by using Outlook in combination with OneNote and I would like to know if the above is possible before proposing that our company investigate the feasability of this move.
