I'm using Lotus Notes Ver 7 as a mail client on my home computer using my regular internet POP3 account. Everything seems to work fine but when I send mail all the recipients get mail header info along with the text that I send. Here is an example: RCPT TO: <cepost@verizon.net> DATA DATA To: cepost@verizon.net Subject: Test Message MIME-Version: 1.0 X-Mailer: Lotus Notes Release 7.0 August 18, 2005 Message-ID: <OFFECD4930.28D4EE87-ON852570C5.00014B80-852570C5.000156E7@verizon.net> From: cepost@verizon.net Date: Fri, 25 Nov 2005 19:14:37 -0500 X-MIMETrack: Serialize by Notes Client on Craig Post/Craig Post(Release 7.0|August 18, 2005) at 11/25/2005 07:14:44 PM, Serialize complete at 11/25/2005 07:14:44 PM Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Test Message When I receive mail it looks fine.. how do I set up Notes so it doesn't send the header info? Thanks, Craig Post cepost@verizon.net

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Looks more like a recipient problem than a sender problem.
The SMTP envelope you receive is the normal one. It is included in every SMTP transaction and interpreted by the client.
Can you try to send me a mail to that address pat.axis@wanadoo.fr ?

Hi., Open your lotus notes., Click File - Preference - User Preference. Select Mail - Internet. There in the internet mail format, what is the option choosen. is it HTML and PLAIN TEXT. Edit your current location, go to mail tab, there "Format for messages addressed to internet addresses: ", select "Notes Rich Text Format" and "send outgoing mails:" select "directly to internet"... Pls revert back after checking... Reg Kochu
