Answer Wiki

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

In Formula Language:

FIELD Principal := “what you want it to be”;

In Lotus Script:

Dim session as New NotesSession
Dim db as NotesDatabase
Dim dc as NotesDocumentCollection
Dim doc as NotesDocument

Set db = session.currentdatabase
Set dc = db.unprocesseddocuments

if dc.count = 0 then
exit sub
end if

Set doc = dc.getfirstdocument()

doc.principal = “what you want it to be”
Call doc.save(true, false, true)

    You should find some interesting stuff here about Principal Field : http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/lotus/library/ls-Troubleshooting_agents_ND5_6/ See chapter "How can I change the apparent sender of agent generated mail?"
