    At this point it is not possible to say that whether xpages will replace classic notes and web applications in lotus notes or not. 
    In comparison to the classic notes applications XPages is a rapid web and mobile application development technology. It core is the development platforms like JavaScript, Ajax, Java, the Dojo Toolkit, Server-side JavaScript and JavaServer Faces that makes it more emerging and popular
