Lotus Domino 8: Probelm with Design replication
Hello all, I'm having a problem with a database that has been ongoing for some time on domino 6.5 and 8. We have a database on the server which everybody has a copy of. One person makes changes to this database and the changes are then supposed to be replicated to everyone else. Problem I am having is deletions are not being replicated to everyone. I have checked the replication options for the local replica's and deletions are no being replicated, I check this and it works. Now I need to do this for everyone. I made this setting on the template that this database enherits its changes from but the setting did not change. I have replaced design, refreshed design, this does not work. Can this setting be enherited from a template? I have also noticed when I refresh design or 'load design -f database.nsf' I receive the error: Warning cannot locate design template 'Recensement' used by 'Database'. I have no idea where Recensement came from, I can't find this anywhere. Thanks for any help Paul

Answer Wiki:
I don't know about replicating the database setting. Sorry. For the "Warning cannot locate design template" message, look at the database design properties and ensure it is not indicated as the design template. (I assume you have already done that.) Assuming it is not indicated there, look at all your database objects using Designer. Any objects that are assigned a different template will have a funny square blue symbol. Right click the object and check its design tab. Delete the template name when you find it. There is also a utility you can find on openntf.org called NotesPeek. This has views that allow you to see more information about design objects, etc.
