If for some reason you cannot move the pst back, then open outlook, go to file-data file management and remove the archive folder from the list there. Cloas and re-open outlook and you should be fine.

Is the Archive Folder still in the Main Folder List? If it is, right click in and select “Remove from Folder Favorites”. To close the real Archive Folder, you can try moving the archive file back where it was but you may have to re-create your e-mail profile using the Mail option in the Control Panel.

More description: In outlook after archiving, there is a archive folder that appears under Favorite folders. i moved the pst to several of these archives without closing the archive folder in this location. Now, when i open outlook and try to close the archive folder the error i mentioned above shows up. How do i fix the error, so that i can close these archive folders?
