Lost all Outlook calendar data in previous months after syncing with blackberry 8130

How can I prevent the previous months' calendar data on Outlook and my Blackberry from being deleted when syncing?

First off, are you using a Blackberry Enterprise Server? Go to Calendar and click for Menu and select Calendar Options. Under ACTIONS set Keep Appointments for (options are 15 Days, 30 Days, 60 Days, 90 Days or Forever). Note that if you are running out of storage space/memory you may want to add more memory. I know the 8330 (Curve) will take up to 4MB and I'm pretty sure the 8130 (Pearl) will too. Also, you may want to check and see what you archiving rules are in your Outlook.

No, I am not using Enterprise Server. I am using Outlook 2007 on a simple home network.
