unexperienced tester needs help determining a document template for ensuring that all pieces of an application are being tested - there currently is no documentation - my superior is looking for something that shows data elements, functions, screen prints but yet he doesn't want a procedure manual - I'm not sure what he is looking for - anyone willing to help a newbie - we are agile, gui and use a lot of third party interactions if that makes a difference, plus the application is extremely customizable.  thanks for any direction you can steer me

When I first read this, I thought you were looking for a "template" -- a kind of form to create a Word document from. But now I wonder if you're really looking for a document that helps guide testers through a testing procedure. Can you add a little more explanation? -- Tom
