I have been working in IT since 10 years now. This consists working experience as a hardware engineer, system administrator, application support, data center operations, virtualization, ITIL processes (Incident, problem and change management).
As on certification part I have a VMware certification (VCP), ISO 27001:2013 LA, ITIL (Service Operations).
I am looking for career into cloud security, information security.
Received many suggestions like I should be doing penetration testing, AWS certification, vendor neutral cloud certifications etc. not sure where to start from.
From the search, I have done on internet I understand there are 2 ways in this technical and non technical side (where my technical background will serve as added advantage) which I'm more interested in.
I am more interested to know how can I present/utilize my technical and non technical experience and seek a career in cloud security.
It would be helpful for me to get my confusion cleared and focus on right thing if you can suggest.
Thanks and regards.
