 Logon Credentials in UNC Path
Hello All, Is there a way to pass logon credentials in a UNC path? I need to occasionally access a server across a firewall and was wondering if I could pass logon credentials with a UNC path statement. OR If I use "net use" to map a drive with persistance will the remote machine needing access to the server always have to be logged on with the same user account?

Answer Wiki:
I hope I understand you correctly. With net use cmd you can specify the credentials, eg: "net use x: servershared /user:papermaker password /persistent:yes" With that mapped persistently (let's say to the logon script) it will work regardless who the user logged on to the machine.
