login persmission Windows Server 2003

Administrative privileges, Windows Server 2003, Oracle Enterprise Manager

I am trying to log into a windows 2003 server through oracle enterprise manager. I get a wrong username and/or password error. I use the same credentials to login alright when I use remote desktop. Are there any permissions or rights I need to change or grant in the server to be able to login. Please help.

Are you getting a “RemoteOperationException: ERROR: wrong password for user” message? In Windows server you need to make a change to the local security policy:

- go to Control Panel, Administrative Tools
- click on Local Security Policy
- click on Local Policies, User Rights Assignment
- open up "Log on as batch job"
- add your user to the list
