Unfortunately, passwords can be confusing because, though your computer likely won't forget a password, you very well might. When this happens, you can be locked out from your whole system, as in the case of the Windows XP Administrator Password. This article will show you how to remove an Administrator password.
Instructions:
Insert your Windows XP CD into your CD drive and boot your computer. If you receive the message "press any key to boot from CD," press any key.

Step 2 Press Enter to setup Windows. After accepting the license agreement, you wil be asked if you want start a Repair process.

Step 3 Press R to begin the Repair process. Setup will now check your disks and then start copying files, which can take several minutes. After this, reboot. Let the computer boot normally (do not press a key to boot from CD).

There is another way that I found out and that is to go into the setup F2 on boot and then set the date time before you bought the computer. Then reboot and teh PC will boot normal and you can log on and then it will allow you to go into the administrator side and reset the passowrd and all accounts.
Big security hole if there is no password set for the setup.

I went into Administrative Tools, Computer Management, probably users/user groups since I wanted to add a password. I was asked if I wanted to change the password every so often which I denied, yet I do not beleive to ever instate a password. At this point I want to use the computer and am asked for the old password which I do not know (since I may have changed it from enter to something new) and to create a new password since too much time has elapsed (which I can not understand either)
