How could I login to an AS/400 system. After entering ID/password, it asks me to press enter twice and after pressing enter, it comes back on login page.

You need to talk to the Security Officer for the AS400.

Who’s machine is it. Are you at work?

If this is truly valid, you have someone who is capturing Profiles and passwords. Someone wrote code to Acquire workstations and display the normal signing screen. Then when you enter your information they log it. You should contact the head of your IT department immediately,

    Another possibility is that the initial program to run upon log in may be logging off immediately. Check with your security person to see if you are using a valid user profile.

    Please give more detail. Most importantly, describe "asks me to press enter twice". How does it "ask"? Is that the only thing on the entire screen -- a statement telling you to "press enter"? Most likely would seem to be some error message. -- Tom
