 login issue OWA 2003
We got a big problem with specially the password field on our OWA. Sometimes a sign is missing you can push the button an nothing happen. You will have to push the same button again. If you count the sign in the password field, one sign maeby two sign is missing. We have heard this from a lot of users. We have tried for our selfs. I would say that 20% is wrong. We really don't know where to look is it something with cache in IO 7.0. Is it OWA server problem or is in our cisco firewall. If we use Outlook client we got no problem. Jan Boje

Answer Wiki:
Ok, so the problem occurs no matter what PC and you can verifiy the password is being typed correctly, but OWA is not registering every character in the password. I cannot find any refence to this strange behavior anywhere so I would definitely get on the phone with Microsoft for support on this one.

OK, I know you say you heard this from a lot of people and tried it yourselves, but I have to ask since you didn’t say, this is occuring at different work stations? Just to clarify…

we have tried this strange behavior on different workstation. we have tried to put a keylogger on a workstation and we can see in the logfiles that username and password is correct. but when we look at the two login boxes a letter or to letters is missing.
We have tried with google chrome no mistakes at all, same with Firefox.
we have tried to login to another server in another company still we have the same problem.
