Login credentials requested
Whenever some of my users tried to check their mailbox through MS-Outlook it asks for their username and Password, even when supplied it still ask at the end the mailbox will be opened but referenced "Need Password" Can anybody help me with the possible solution?
I am using Windows 2003 Server 64Bit and Exchange 2007Server as well.

The most common cause I've found is a problem authenticating to the domain. And the most common cause of that is users locking their accounts out due to too many failed attempts. If that's not the case, I'd check the event logs on the domain controllers and possibly even a dcdiag and see if anything comes up.
Are they local users or remote users?

How are they connecting to the server – is it set up as exchange or are they using POP3.
I have a very similar issue with Outlook and POP3 – the user’s profile was corrupted and had to create a new windows profile then set up the Outlook profile again.
