 WAN logical topology help

what is the best logical topology for a WAN for a business with 4 branches (1 main and 3 remote sites). Each branches holds 70 computers. please help.

IPSec VPN to connect all four sites. different networks (LAN) for each site. If using Cisco routers, you can use DMVPN for site-to-site conenctivity with main site as DMVPN hub.

A star topography works best in many cases but I am sure you would find others on this forum who would disagree with me.

Both a logical and physical topography are used to fit the mold of the situation. What type of physical topology do you have in place? What media do you have connecting these buildings? How far apart are the buildings? Is the main building geographically separated from one of all of the others?

Token based or shared, your decision should come after answering those questions.

I was only able to see one picture. What kind of cabling is connecting these building? Are they all connected to one another, in a ring, both, to a backbone?

The more I think about this question the more I realize that I am no position to answer it. There are too many variables and I do not have a professional background in network creation.

I wish you luck in your choice. Maybe another person here will be able to provide you with a better answer
