Logging into Windows XP with a barcode
I am trying to use a barcode to log into Windows XP. I am using the Free 3 of 9 Extended Font to make my barcodes. I have made a barcode ( for example ) username&Ipassword, and it works just fine in Word with it placing a TAB between the username and the password. When I try it on the Windows Log-in Screen it inputs the entire barcode including the $I for the TAB and auto enters giving me an error message asking to input a password. Does anyone know how to get the TAB function to work in the Log-in Screen for Windows XP? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Have you considered using a different delimiter than tab? -Schmidtw

Did you mean you need to scan the barcodes when logged into it?
