Locating default library in AS/400 with iSeries

I'm having trouble figuring out how to boot to the default library while connecting to an AS/400 stored procedure layer using the IBM iSeries Access for Windows package. This set-up works through.NET DLL with classes similar to those in the System.Data namespace, and therefore uses its connect class and connection string implementation.  That's where I get lost because I can't find the library. Any help would be appreciated.

First, why do you think there is a 'default library'? One might not exist, so you'd need a reason to think that one did. The reason might help us in the absence of any other info such as connection attributes.

And why do you need to know it? If one doesn't exist, there might be alternatives for whatever you need to do.
